Hey. I’m Manny.
Manny Tijerina is a Mexican American actor from Houston, TX. He is currently finishing up his senior year at The University of Oklahoma, a few weeks away from graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre Performance. He is a proud first-generation graduate. After his summer plans, he will move to New York City in July to pursue his career.
Manny is known by his peers and mentors as a sharp and ruminative actor with a powerful, dynamic voice. With versatility across styles and techniques, he consistently delivers compelling and nuanced performances.
In his free time, he enjoys long walks with a podcast, a stormy night in with his kindle, or trying a new recipe. He is a devoted music lover, instrumentalist, and songwriter. His favorites are Elton John, SZA, The Beatles, Sufjan Stevens, Frank Ocean, Joni Mitchell, Queen, and Adam Guettel. He also works as an audition coach and acting instructor for Liz Carr Training in Tulsa, OK.
